Proposal:

My proposal for this idea against illegal immigration is fairly simple: don't allow illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is a crime, and more importantly dishonesty and theft. Many of these immigrants are coming into this country illegally, working here under the table without paying taxes, and often taking the money they earn and spending it in other country's foreign markets. This puts a tough strain on our economy, especially GDP, or gross domestic product. 

Not only are these people working here illegally, they are enjoying many of the same privileges our government provides for its citizens such as healthcare, police enforcement, and public education, without paying a dime. These people should not be given amnesty and much more needs to be done to arrest these criminals and either put them behind bars, or get them back to the country in which they came. 

Main Points:

*Working tax-free

*Free public education

*They are committing a crime

*Making a burden on America's taxpayers 

*No amnesty 

*Some pros to illegal immigration

*Taking some of the jobs of Americans

* Raising the unemployment rate

*Prison time for these illegal immigrants is costly to the government

*Building fences around our borders/ border patrol

*Crime rate because of these illegals is increasing

*American companies hiring the illegals 

Conclusion: 

The American government has been quite, "slack," if you will about allowing these people come into our country and work illegally. They have also had a bad habit of letting the employers of these illegals, get off rather easily when it comes to their punishment for a major crime such as this. These employers are ultimately responsible for the problem with illegal immigration and should be punished accordingly. The American government should have a better border control, whether it means troops present, outposts, a fence, etc., but the easiness of these people to walk in and out of our country is astounding. The illegal immigrants here should be found quickly and shipped overseas because having them be housed in American jails is also causing our taxpayers a lot of money. The employers of these people should receive stiff jail time to make them think twice about committing the crime again. The government should also talk to the countries in which most of the illegals come from, and see if there is anything they can do to solve the issue. Amnesty should not be allowed in this country because we should not reward people for committing a crime.
