Topic- The Benefits of Stem Cell Research on such diseases as Parkinson, Alzhimer's and Diabetes.
Thesis- Stem cell research has been a topic of controversy over the last few years. In the last few years research has given light to the benefits that stem cell research provides for some of the many diseases that plague our lives daily; Parkinson's, Alzhimer's and Diabetes.

This is a very interesting topic. In your thesis I would omit the second use of "over the last few years"
ReplyDeleteThis is a really good topic and something that could really have the ability to change people's mind about something. The phrasing in the second sentence seems a little wordy. Maybe if you started the sentence by listing what the diseases are it would be a little easier to understand, but thats just me. Good start!
ReplyDeleteThe only problem I could foresee with this topic is that stem cell research has become less controversial since they've discovered how to do it without using fetuses, so there's less of a counterargument. But there's still just the question of whether it's worthy research or not, so I suppose that's not a problem. Good topic.
