Topic: positions unavailable to women in the American military
Thesis: there are many positions unavailable to women in the United States military today; women are not allowed to participate in the infantry, armor or special operations. Though some would argue that theses limitations are in place to protect the men, women, and operations of the united states military, they are actually sexist discrimination.

ReplyDelete...Hummm the topic seems good and thesis seems ok...you could probably include reasons why you think women are not allowed to go into those positions...would actually make the topic more specific...
ReplyDeleteGood. Make sure that this argumentative paper does not dissolve into an informative paper. Already, the topic is much more provoking than the argument, which is very scant. The argument I see here is that military is sexist. I know you can come up with a more thoughtful, academic argument. For example, your paper might prove that there is institutionalized sexism in one branch of the military.
