My topic is "Opt-out versus Opt-in Organ Donation Systems."
Currently, the Unites States uses an "opt-in" system for organ donation which a person must declare at an earlier time their wished for donating their organs. The United States should switch to an "opt-out" system because both recipients and donors would benefit from an opt-out system.

Dreena, Sounds like a really interesting subject. I would change "wished" to "wish" or a stronger word such as "decision." I am just curious, does opt out mean that the donor will decide at the time of the accident?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a very intense topic, there are strong arguments from both sides. Im really excited to read your final paper on this! My only concern is I have no idea what's going on from your thesis alone. Maybe you could also define an "opt-out" system in your thesis?
ReplyDeleteDrenna, you should explain what each of your terms means so that you get more informed peer reviews. Do this in your proposal.
ReplyDeleteThe reason you give for your opinion is "because both recipients and donors would benefit from an opt-out system." This is very vague. Give real reasons as if you are conversing with an intelligent audience.
